The Night Chutney Found Us
One night in June 2023, a skinny, malnourished dog wandered up to StreetPaw’s kitchen, clearly searching for food. On a whim, we told her to “sit and wait” while we got something for her — and she actually did. She sat there patiently, like she understood every word.
She reminded us so much of chutney — warm, familiar, and comforting — that we decided to call her Chutney. She showed up a few more times after that... and then, just like that, she was gone. But she left something behind — inspiration.
That’s how The Chutney Project was born.
At StreetPaw, we believe real, nutritious food isn’t a privilege — It’s a basic right for every furkid, whether it’s a stray on the streets, a rescued mix, or a pampered pedigree pet. No labels. No judgment. Just love, and the real food they all deserve.

Does StreetPaw Profit from The Chutney Project?

The Chutney Project isn’t about making money — it’s about making a difference. We created this initiative to stay true to our mission: ensuring that every furkid, whether at home or on the streets, gets to eat real, nutritious food. Because real food is a necessity, not a privilege.
In fact, we’ve redirected a portion of our profits to subsidize this project, making sure even the most vulnerable pets get the nourishment they deserve. It’s our way of giving back, one bowl at a time.
What’s Inside Each Pouch:
Ingredients: Chicken Heart, Chicken Thigh, Chicken Breast and Chicken Liver.
Supplements: Eggshell powder, Omega 3, Seaweed, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, Taurine.
Note: To keep costs low and feed more strays, we do not use kampung chicken in The Chutney Project range.
Why donate Chutney Meals instead of cheaper options?
Chutney Meals are real, nutritious meals made with restaurant-grade ingredients and added supplements — the same food and quality we give our own furkids. They’re not made with low-grade fillers, but are complete, balanced meals designed to truly nourish.
Because every cat deserves quality care, regardless of breed or background. Our goal is to make real food accessible to all furkids — not just the privileged ones. No compromises, no discrimination — just good food for all of 'em.
Why is there no label sticker for the meal packs?
To make these meals as affordable and accessible as possible. Instead of printing dozens of individual stickers, we’ve opted for a single printed card.
This helps reduce costs, allowing us to offer these meals at a more budget-friendly price while staying true to our mission of providing real food for all furkids.
